To scuba divers, Australia's Great Barrier Reef represents
some of the finest and most exotic diving in the world. Extending
2000 kilometers, almost the entire length of the state of
Queensland, this massive chain of coral reefs, cays, atolls and
secluded islands, is alive with over 1500 species of fish, some
350 species of reef building corals, 400 sponges and many
thousands of crustaceans, worms, echinoderms, bryozoans, soft
corals and anemones.
Many of the more exotic
dive locations are to the north of Cairns and Port Douglas along the
outer edge of the reef. A string of ribbon reefs numbered 1-10 are
all loaded with exciting and adventurous scuba diving. These reefs
have dive sites aptly named by local instructors and dive masters.
Regular visits are made to the Hard Shark Cafe, Fish tank, Andy's
postcard, Steve's Bommie, Wonderland, Temple of Doom and the world
renowned Cod Hole, to name but a few.
Whatever your pleasure Reel Screamer can deliver with both safety
and comfort. Allow us to assemble your diving package using

A Dive master or instructor and additional dive equipment can

The only difficult aspect of diving the Great Barrier Reef
is deciding on the destination and duration of your voyage,
the options and combinations are unlimited. Destinations cover
the entire Queensland coast encasing northern Coral Sea reefs
and famous shipwrecks such as the Yongala and the R.M.S. Quetta. |
